National Committees
The Chess Kenya National Committees are integral to the federation’s efforts to promote and develop chess nationwide. With the adoption of the new constitution, the committees have been restructured to streamline their operations and align with the federation's expanding objectives. The six committees have been entrusted with broader mandates to address critical areas such as events, leagues, arbiters and organizers, training, youth and schools, and women's chess. This restructuring reflects Chess Kenya’s commitment to fostering growth, inclusivity, and professionalism within the chess community.
Each committee is composed of dedicated individuals selected based on their expertise and contributions to the sport. These members bring a wealth of experience and a shared passion for advancing chess in Kenya. Their collective efforts aim to create a supportive environment that nurtures talent, enhances organizational efficiency, and ensures the federation remains responsive to the needs of players, coaches, officials, and enthusiasts alike.
