FIDE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 & U17 – SPAIN 2026
Chess Kenya Federation invites eligible Kenyan players to participate in the FIDE World Championships U7–U17 2026, to be held in Roquetas de Mar, Spain, from 13th to 21st October 2026.

Eligibility: Players must meet the applicable FIDE age requirement and, for self-sponsored participation from Kenya, must have scored a minimum of 6 points at the Kenya U17 National Chess Championships 2026.
Registration Deadline: 12th September 2026. All Kenyan entries will be processed through Chess Kenya Federation.
Payment Instructions
All payments must be made only to the Chess Kenya Euro Account.
Note that payments are exclusive of Airtickets, Insuarance and Visa Fees
When making the bank payment, the payment narration/reference must clearly indicate the participant's name and tournament.
For example:
Phosophate Kiamaiko – World U17 Championship
Where a family is registering more than one participant, a separate identifiable narration should be used for each registration wherever possible.

Visa Information
Kenyan participants require a Schengen visa for Spain. Chess Kenya Federation will coordinate the required visa-support information with the Organizers after registration and payment have been completed.
Participants should submit accurate passport details and ensure that their passport is valid for more than six months. Visa issuance remains subject to the relevant Spanish consular authorities.
Important: Participants should confirm their availability before making payment. Refunds cannot be guaranteed once registration, accommodation or other payments have been processed or committed to the Organizers.
